Don’t let economy dim home design |

From what I saw on the runway, black and gray are back, merged with classic lines that will be a good investment for the future. These color trends will also be replicated in interior design trends. But in my opinion, gray or black without purple, white, or pink could be a bit depressing. Don’t let the economy and the state of our Union bring you down. Pump up your spirits with bright colors this spring and fall. Choose from a pallet for your home that will transform your spirit and keep you and your family feeling good about the future of our country. The designers are smart in bringing back the classics. Black, brown, gray and cream are safe colors to invest in when purchasing furniture for your home. Classic and modern lines are timeless and if you buy good-quality pieces they will last a lifetime and your investment can even be transferred to your children. Now that the economy has businesses cutting their prices, take advantage of the sales. Put some money back into the system, and feel good when you walk away with a deal. Buy that Oriental rug you’ve been wanting or that couch you really need. Don’t overlook used furniture — there are some great deals to be found at estate sales, moving sales and flea markets. Whatever you decide, think outside of that box and for heaven’s sake, if you’re doing gray and black bring in some of that pink and purple to keep you motivated and hopeful about our future. Now go out and create your own unique comfort zone! Add a comment |
