Create a romantic bedroom without spending too much |

Leslie P. DEAR LESLIE: Creating a romantic space for you and your husband is not as difficult as you may think. Our bedrooms tend to be the last space we decorate. Place framed photographs of you and your husband in the space. Don’t put photos of your children or other family members in the room. It should be all about you and your hubby. Add inexpensive sheers to your windows to add drama and soften the room. You can even layer the sheers under your existing drapes by adding a second curtain rod. Incorporate a few candles into your space. The scent of vanilla is commonly thought to be seductive. Layer your bed with luxury but avoid placing an overabundance of pillows on the bed. A soft and cozy throw or satin pillow cases will spice things up a bit. Don’t stress out about creating this haven for you and your hubby. Add a few things at a time. Stick with your budget and purchase things on sale whenever possible.
