Mi-Ling Stone Poole
A native of Minnesota, Mi-Ling Stone Poole grew up in the Twin Cities with many of the major
players in the music industry. These friendships solidified her interest in entertainment and

company she has negotiated recording and publishing contracts, supplied talent for radio, television,
film and booked celebrity speakers and entertainers.

Martin Sheen and Isaac Hayes. As associate producer Mi-Ling contributed to the success of the film and
it earning an (Independent Film Channel Award). She was also instrumental (as former co-manager) in helping
to start the career of rapper Techn9ne. In 1992 Stone Poole coordinated Kansas City’s first Black Music
Conference which, included record executives and registered over 500 participants. In 1998 she selected
and booked choirs for a portion of P. Diddy’s, “I’ll Be Missing You” tour.
In June of 2003 Stone Poole merged her writing ability with her passion for design and launched two columns, “Mi-Ling’s
Comfort Zone,” and “Ask Mi-Ling.”
Mi-Ling's columns are featured in numerous newspapers around the country and she is distributed through the McClatchy Tribune News Service.
